Tributes have poured in from across the naval and defence ‘family’ for Vice Admiral Sir Clive Johnstone, who died suddenly at the weekend.

Today Naval Regional Commander Brigadier Jock Fraser Royal Marines was privileged to meet Vaughan Gething 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. These meetings present the perfect opportunity to share the good work of Welsh Sailors and Royal Marines as well as providing updates on Welsh affiliated ships and the wider naval family.

#RoyalNavy patrol ship HMS Trent took their running total to over £500m as they seized more than £200m of cocaine in their fifth Caribbean drugs bust since deploying there in December.

In celebration of the Royal Navy's HMS Cattistock being granted the freedom of the Borough of Poole, sailors and Royal Marines paraded the streets.

Over 70 service personnel along with the The Bands of HM Royal Marines🥁 exercised their freedom.

A door from the central citadel of HMS Campbeltown has been partially restored and can be seen in French Museum, Musée le Grand Blockhausan, in an exhibition championing the deeds of those who attacked the docks at St Nazaire.

Two veteran RN aircraft are heading to the #Falklands to take centre stage in a new exhibition hall marking the 1982 conflict.

A Lynx Mk8 and a Sea Harrier - the latter moved from RNAS Yeovilton - are being shipped south.
