As you may have been informed, DPS has extended spring break starting Monday, March 16 through Monday, April 6. The Bridge Project will also be closed to support the health and well-being of the Bridge community. We will resume programming on Tuesday, April 7th.

Bridge Project #COVID19 Update: Denver Public Schools has announced they will move to remote learning after the extended spring break starting April 7 through 17. The Bridge Project sites will remain closed during this time. We are looking at ways to support our youth virtually.

Midweek #seniorspotlight. A Bridge Project student created a drawing showing the reality of being a senior in today's unknown environment. We want to "spotlight" all #2020Seniors and give them the space to share their emotions. We are here for our students!

Midweek #seniorspotlight, #Classof2020 Hooray! Mubarak has been accepted to UCS San Diego. The big question is, will he decide to head to the West coast? Currently, he is leaving all options on the table until he knows which university awards him the most scholarships. #SoProud

The Bridge Project is starting to get the hang of #virtualprogramming! Each day, our Columbine site offers a fun activity to keep youth moving and engaged. Here the youth are doing #virtualyoga and a #virtualworkout class. We also provide homework help and tutoring.

Wednesday #seniorspotlight is here! Howa, from the Bridge Project's Westwood site, has been accepted into 6 universities this fall. We are feeling very proud of our long time Tech Team member. Any positive tips for Howa as she enters freshmen year? #class2020

Our youth are getting creative and crafty at home! As part of Bridge Project programming, our Columbine site did an #artathomechallenge. Each participant grabbed whatever they had at the house to paint, draw or color. Look how great they turned out!

#TutoringTuesday Can you guess a six-letter word that has the letters E, X, O, and T in it? Our tutors are virtually connecting with tutees, and here our tutee, Holly, is playing hangman with her tutor.

The show must go on! Our Tech Team members are working hard on their virtual elevator pitch for the Binning Foundation annual Elevator pitch contest. The top 10 will then go on to present their pitches in June to compete for scholarship prize money. #virtualcontest

4,000 hours with nearly 300 Bridge youth. Our interns go above and beyond for Bridge Project youth for the school year. Thank you, interns, for supporting and making each day special for our youth. #virtualappreciation #internships

#TBT to last week's virtual end of the year celebration. There were smiles all around! While this year certainly ended differently than how we planned. It's been a joy to adjust and continue to support our youth. Thank you to our programming staff for stepping up!
