On 9th February – 7:30pm at Bridge Cottage. Flute, Viola and Harp Trio: Charlotte Munro – Flute, Ellie Blackshaw – Viola and Anna Wynne – Harp. Their programme will include Debussy’s haunting sonata for flute, viola and harp and Arnold Box’s ‘Elegiac Trio’.

On 16th March we have Bach ‘Cello Suites with Pavlos Carvalho. A performance of Bach’s sublime unaccompanied ‘cello suites in the atmospheric setting of the Hall Chamber,Bridge Cottage.Pavlos is well known to local audiences and appears regularly as a soloist in the UK & abroad

Our first evening talk of 2019:

Memories Cafe at Bridge Cottage starts on Thursday 14th February 10am-12pm. Come in to Bridge Cottage on the second Thursday of the month and tell us how you remember Uckfield, how it's changed while you've been here and about how your town has grown.

Don’t forget to buy your tickets for the last two concerts in the Bridge Cottage Chamber Music Series. On 9th February at 7:30pm is Flute, Viola and Harp Trio- Charlotte Munro, Ellie Blackshaw and Anna Wynne. Then on 16th March at 7:30pm - Bach ‘Cello Suites with Pavlos Carvalho.

The first Talk of the year, Ration Recipes and Digging for Victory 1940s, will be on Thursday 7th February. On 7th March, Andy Thomas presents a talk - The Story of English Freedom. Sussex Piers: Disappointed bridges or palaces of delight? is the 4th April evening talk.
