Excellent news. I look forward to the day when Dragonfly ( the Wilts and Berks Canal Trust trip boat ) can go all the way from The Quayside at Waitrose/ the Hall & Woodhouse ) along and through the lock to middle Wichelstowe. Thanks Wichelstowe Project!

When in southern Lakeland … The Arthur Ransome Society been wanting to come out here for a long time . My fave childhood author and still a fave 50 years plus still I first read Swallows and Amazons . This area between Coniston and Windermere is a treasure !
