Just seen Christy, about boxer Christy Martin, boxing not being a sport I follow I had never heard of her, having seen this film, which I read is close to be accurate, its a story more should know about. The abuse she suffered makes it a hard watch at times but needed to be told

49 years ago today, the Bill Grundy show and the infamous interview with the Sex Pistols. I need to re watch the Great RockNRoll Swindle as ive not seen it for many years, and the Filth and the Fury by Julien Temple, which is better IMO ... “say something outrageous”

Bench is scary, worried about this one, really need Jake O'Brein to have a big game, hope Keane isnt out long? Not followed any news since Saturday! Big game for Tim as well, wasnt great at the weekend but he wasnt the only one .... Hope all the blues stuck in traffic make it!

Great result, when did we last have 3 away wins this early in the season? Or 10 road points? Into the top 10.. Tim was better I thought, its still coming for Barry!! Clean sheet, Jake decent at CB, a lot of positives. Just need to do a Sean Dyche side now on Saturday!!!

Released on this day in 1973, The Wicker Man. This original British Lion 1sheet is one of my favourite posters in my collection, and 1 from the British set of Lobby Cards (phone pic dont do it justice) Determined next year to see the locations, although I said this last December.

Great result today at Hill Dickinson, and a rare 3pm kickoff!! The best home win we have had to date. A ride on the ferry, a goal from Barry and a clean sheet!! This season is really starting to get interesting.....

Everton v Nottingham Forest, really starting to enjoy taking photos at Hill Dickinson, by pure coincidence they always come out better if we go onto win!

Really sad to read about the passing of Martin Parr, his images of New Brighton and his book The Last Resort, are known all over the world, but it was only a small part of his legacy, a wonderful photographer. theguardian.com/artanddesign/2…

That Brighton West Ham game was really good, just shows Sky don't always have to show the clichéd sky 6 to have an entertaining afternoon of football, its often better when they don't. Hope Marco can get a good result against Palace next
