Central Michigan HOF football coach Roy Kramer has passed away. He led the Chippewas to their DII national title in 1974 and was a huge reason why Central moved to D1 and joined the Mid-American Conference. RIP to a college football legend. #FireUpChips | #FireUpForever

Coach Kramer was a legend - in every sense of the term. It is impossible to measure the impact he made on those around him & the game of football. On a deeply personal note: I cannot explain how gracious, helpful, & kind he was to me. His legacy will live on forever.

I believe this is the greatest game in McGuirk Arena history (open since 2010). It was January 28, 2023. The 40th year anniversary of the TP toss. 5,425 fans (the arena record), watched CMU trail WMU for 39 of the 40 minutes before this ending. Will tomorrow top it? 🧻
