The story of Scrooge & Cratchit is uplifting. But it’s just a story. There is one, true, time-tested strategy for systematically giving workers across industries their fair slice of the pie: Labor organizing. #UnionsForAll

Ohio: Dead fish and cattle being reported as far as 100 miles away from the site. Journalists covering the story have been arrested. What the HELL is going on?

This is utterly shameful. Those of us in the greater Ithaca community struggle with the limited revenue we can use as a result of Cornell being tax exempt, and for what? They don't even use that hoarded money for the betterment of their students. Cornell students deserve better.

Ohio police link environmental hero Erin Brockovich to "terrorism" because she is organizing residents in East Palestine to challenge the rail company that poisoned their town. Outrageous. Those who challenge polluters are now terrorists? news.yahoo.com/ohio-law-enfor…

the use of domestic terrorism charges against legal observers and people who were simply attending a concert in a park is absolutely horrifying and a clear attempt to chill free speech. all eyes on atlanta.

The bottom panel is my parents, the middle one is me, the top one is my children. If we act now, our children will still have a liveable future. Why is #IPCC not trending?

Wow! That's almost 10x's what the university contributes to the City of Ithaca! I guess we can look forward to an increase in our PILOT.

folks arrested in the forest attending a music festival are having their second bond hearing in DeKalb Court today. so far it's seeming like the judge will be granting (fairly expensive) bonds, as the prosecution has no evidence.

So the question posed is... whether police have a reasonable expectation of privacy... while wrongfully raiding someone's home? Thank you Afroman npr.org/2023/03/24/116…

Our system of corporate policing is awesome because in the rare cases corporate lawbreaking is caught their punishment is simply “paying back what they stole”. This standard, as you may know, is not common for non corporations. Poor people don’t just get to do an oopsie do-over
