When I was a boy, dads pulled weeds as an act of domestic pride and community duty. These days, it’s purely for sport. Bagged these bad boys at first light this morning, using a pump action Fiskars. Might get the big fellas stuffed and mounted. Or make a salad.

About 20 cars outside West Royalty Elementary today. Staff going in at intervals. School is closed for a week due to new COVID cases. Construction of new wing continues.

The sentencing of a man who robbed a convenience store (armed with a sawed-off shotgun) has been postponed. The armed robber phoned in sick today! Such is the justice system on #PEI , in days of COVID. They’ll send him to jail another day.
