Happy 24th anniversary to this phenomenal album. Alt R&B at its best. Aaliyah did that. ♥️

The way she transitions her registers with so much ease and control. A true vocalist. Her voice was not to be played with. We missed out big time. I can never understand people who think Aaliyah could not sing. They will always be wrong.

Exactly, her acapella’s are where you see her voice shine the most. As a singer myself, she is a singer’s singer. Consumers don’t understand that different tracks call for different vocal delivery. She knew how to use her voice to compliment whatever track she was on.

I thank God daily for aligning me with the right people at the right time.

Malcom & Eddie was one of those shows that seem to be forgotten about in time but was one of my favorites growing up
