We’re busy rehearsing Mahler 3 but we always have time for the wonderful Fenella Humphreys 😍 We had a brilliant session running through Adrian Sutton’s fantastic new concerto with her, watched by the composer himself! 🎻

💔💔💔 The wanton destruction of this incredible ensemble, of the new music they were creating, and the ensuing loss of future opportunities for composers is sickening and heartbreaking. Arts Council England Department for Culture, Media and Sport @lucyfrazermp why was this necessary?

Come and see the incredibly talented Fenella Humphreys play the sublime Korngold Violin Concerto with us this evening at St Martin's. Tickets here: ticketsource.co.uk/booking/t-qjkv… We're also playing Jean Sibelius Symphony #1 - which might be the best first symphony ever written!
