I have been in Nebraska the last two days as a new member of the Master Irrigator Program, a program that started in the Midwest and now has expanded to the Southeast. It was great to meet university colleagues, #NRCS, Industry working on the development of this curriculum.

I’m excited to have been elected by ISPA members as the new ISPA Board Secretary. With roots in the 1990s precision ag revolution in Minnesota, ISPA continues to gather the world’s top agricultural innovation talent. #PrecisionAg #ISPA #Innovation

Farmer-to-Farmer knowledge sharing is key to advance AG. We are harvesting plots from our #TAPS project that involves farmers/consultants. EIGHT farmer teams have been making Agronomic decisions in real time (seeding rate, nitrogen & water). #Precisionag technologies used here!

#AL Drought Update‼️ After another week of little to no rain, there was nearly a 50% increase in drought conditions & now the entire state is experiencing some level of dryness. It's unlikely we will see large scale improvements next week. #ALDroughtUpdate NIDIS Drought.gov

The AL Water Resources Conference this week offered a space to learn and exchange ideas and current projects focused on the sustainability of water use in the Southeast. I am proud of the students in my lab for their good work and students I also advise from other programs.

It means a lot when the husband goes with you to the field on a Saturday at 9:00 am 🥰🫶. #Teamwork
