It's that time of year again! BPD had a great time shopping for kids and getting those donations to New Day Ministries. Here is a picture of Pastor Stewart and Sgt. Vertefeuille at the time the donations were picked up.

On December 17th, Honor Guard members from Kitsap County Sheriff's Office and Bremerton Police participated in the Wreaths Across America ceremony at the Retsil Veteran's Cemetery (wreathsacrossamerica.org) Grateful to take part in Honoring and Remembering our Nations veterans.

Captain Randy Plumb retired on January 31, 2023, after over 28 years in the profession. He will be missed. To Randy and his family, Thank you for nearly three decades of service and sacrifice for the community we love.

This Friday we will be teaming up with other local agencies to participate in the Bridge 2 Bridge traffic emphasis ranging from the Tacoma Narrows Bridge to the Hood Canal Bridge. Please drive safe!

#KitsapCounty #GraysHarbor: On Friday Troopers & allied agencies will be participating in the Slow Down Move Over Campaign. If you see emergency lights move over or slow down 10 mph under the speed limit 200 ft before & after these zones. This includes DOT workers & tow trucks!

If you helped push this car off of the road, northbound Warren Ave bridge, at about 2PM on Saturday the 22nd, can you call us? The car was stolen at that time, and we'd like to find out who was occupying the car. Call 911 reference case B23-002222, and an officer will call you.

**TRAFFIC ALERT** The intersection of Riddell Rd/Wheaton Way will be closed until further notice. Please use alternate routes. Officers are on scene of a semi vs. light pole collision. The roadway will remain closed pending evaluation and any needed repairs.

Update- The pole has been deemed safe and traffic may resume. We will update if the roadway needs to be closed for repairs.
