Thanks to our friends & partners at ChildrensHungerFund, nearly 120,000 servings of food are en route to areas in Louisiana impacted by Hurricane Ida. We're grateful for amazing partners like CHF that make it possible to serve individuals & families in this great time of need.

We were honored to have Brandon Lipps, former Under Secretary of the Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services (FNCS) at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and current principal at Caprock Strategies, LLC, in our facility last week.

We spent the morning wrapping up an amazing week of shipments to our partner @JAMINTL! Nearly 5 million servings of food are headed to Mozambique to feed children through the USAID Title II International Food Relief Partnership.

As a nonprofit with a mission entirely dedicated to serving those in need, our hearts here at Breedlove are with the people of Ukraine. Today, as we produce food and complete the tasks that lie ahead of us, our passion for our mission is evermore strengthened.

It’s always special when we send food to our friends at SP Food Bank. For those who don’t know, we were originally founded as a division of South Plains Food Bank in 1994. Although we are our own entity today, we are so grateful for our rich history & collaboration through the years!

We're proud to partner with highly effective food banks like Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Yesterday we shipped them more than 158,000 food servings to support their current and ongoing food needs.

This week we had the privilege of hosting a group of first-year medical students from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine as part of their Patients, Physicians, and Populations course. We were honored to have them tour Breedlove and learn more about our mission to feed people in need.

We recently participated in the International Food Aid Showcase at the Dept. of Agriculture. This brought together reps of USDA & USAID from the government side & organizations whose products are used in assistance programs to share about successes & challenges in international food aid.

It was a privilege to host the Mandela Washington Fellows for a visit to Breedlove. These 25 young leaders from all over Sub-Saharan Africa were hosted by Texas Tech. We heard firsthand how the work that we do is positively impacting the countries they live in! #YALI2024
