Brediland Primary School got a positive inspection from Education Scotland. Head teacher Marie-Claire Temple said one of the key highlights from the report was the sense of pride and belonging the school feel, and the focus on building strong, trusting and nurturing relationships.

These 3 responsible citizens received a Mrs Temple Dojo certificate (each worth 5 Dojo points) today at assembly. Watch this space for more information!

It’s Walk to School week next week, alongside our Focus on Health Week. An ideal opportunity to get your steps up by walking to school 🚶

Yesterday was a super start to our Focus on Health week. We had lots of activities set up across the school, including orienteering, yoga, handball, Kurling, basketball, loose parts play and a talk from RNLI Renfrewshire Health and Wellbeing Education Team

Day 2 of our Focus on Health Week - the children enjoyed a talk from Childsmile, football, team building, guided dance, loose parts play and a silent disco. Everyone’s having a ball!!! Let’s hope the weather doesn’t let us down for the rest the week 🙏🏻

Day 3 of Focus on Health Week - Thank you so much to Twist and Hit for showing us some new moves. We also enjoyed rugby, dodgeball, virtual gymnastics and we played some traditional playground games. Police Scotland Renfrewshire & Inverclyde spoke to us about the importance of respect. Another fab day!

Day 4 of Focus on Health Week - We didn’t let the rain stop us! The children enjoyed cheerleading, dodgeball, dance/fitness and a talk from the Fire Brigade. It’s been a fun filled week but we are glad that it’s a holiday weekend to give us a chance to recharge ❤️
