When you worship power, compassion will look like a sin.

A Christianity that believes it needs a political party, president, legislation, and a nation to ensure its survival is a Christianity that actually dethrones Jesus as savior of the nations and advances a belief that Jesus actually needs a nation to be his savior instead.

The beautiful thing about the separation of church and state is that March 31st can be a religious holy day for the church and also a different day of significance for the state and they don’t have to be seen as conflicting with each other.

Why? Because they’re separate.
