The last week has been a little miserable, painful & blurry. Retinal detachment surgery isn’t great. Lovely colleagues have dropped a ‘cheer up’ parcel round inc a perfect piece of art from Stan Dupp, Black Eye gin,a Cornish hamper,local history document &eye patches Thomas Moore

Mmmmmm detached retina surgery gives you a charming (and pretty blinking painful) eyeball bruise. Sorry if this gives you ‘the ick’.
