Worship God!

I’ve been asked once a week to present at the football team meeting for faith formation. We’ve been going through David’s sin with Bathsheba the last 10 weeks. Today we looked at David’s confession and God’s response. This is the essence of the gospel. Pray for conversion!

For your love is better than life; my lips shall ever praise you! - Ps 63(64):4 I was struck by this while reading this morning. I love the life (family, work, etc) that God has given me, and yet His love is better! Let the “better than” be your anthem today.

Faith alone ✅ Works as a fruit of justification ✅ Works as meritorious to eternal life ✅

Appreciate prayers as I teach John 4:3-9 at my church tonight for our mission night. Jesus is the divine bridegroom who thirsts for the salvation of those who are broken by sin with the purpose of wedding them to Himself through His sacrificial death. Pray for conversion!
