Dems can't have a strong, consistent message on anything while they are trying to appeal to the 75% of voters that don't associate with GOP. The political spectrum is too wide.

If Dems want to do better with better and more consistent messaging, they should want more parties that would let them focus on their specific agenda.

It is so easy to be wrong—and to persist in being wrong—when the costs of being wrong are paid by others.
