As Toronto takes on Boston tonight, my older bro called and told me a good story. In the 50's, former Leafs players Billy Harris and Gary Aldcorn came to our house near Timmins (Shania Twain 💎💎💎) to visit my grandmother. It wasn't like Elvis showing up, but pretty close. 🏒⛸️🥅😊👍

I guess, depending on your height and body build, what you weigh can be a subjective thing. I'm six feet two inches tall and my doctor once said 'You'd wear 225 pounds well.' Maybe but it just didn't feel right. My goal is 185, the same as my band days in 1982. I'm almost there.

I've always considered flying much more than a 'special occasion' and I'm starting to pack now. My buckskin jacket's ready and I have 12 jump drives of music burned off for the flight crew. From Minneapolis, I'm on a Delta A-321 Airbus and can hardly wait to depart. ✈️😊🍺👌

Well now that the Winnipeg Jets are out of the playoffs, it's the Toronto Maple Leafs all the way. According to my older bro, former 'Leaf' Billy Harris was over at our house all the time in the early 60's as he was close to my grandpa, so maybe he'll give us some good luck. 🏒

That pizza the other night was so good, I got another on the way home and like the last one, it'll be for the hockey game tonight. Better luck this time, I hope. 🏒 But we're halfway through the convection cooking and will get a another picture posted when it's ready. 😊🍕🏒👍

This is my co-worker, Cindy. She was off work for a bit and upon her return, I had a 'welcome back' cake made for her. I took some pictures, put them in frames and today she got them. That's her favorite band, 'Platinum Blonde'' on the cake and it was really delicious. 🎂❤️👍

We've got a Winnipeg Jets playoff game tonight so a good excuse to do 'spruce up' this plain Jane pizza. So some sliced onion, tomatoes, bacon and a sprinkling of grated old cheese. It's convenction cooking now. The end result coming up. 😀🥓🍅🍕🧅🧀👍😊

I just had a fried egg sandwich for supper and said these words out loud; 'hot damn! This is really good.' Actually, I added some diced onions in there and topped it off with grated old cheese so very tasty. There's enough left for another one so I don't think I'm done yet. 👍

It's hard to tell looking at them through the haze, fog and lights, but these leather pants from 1982 are, indeed, black. And being 'skinny' back then wasn't really a 'planned thing' because when you don't make enough money to eat, you just naturally get that way. 🤣

Tonight I just had a hankering for some convection-cooked McCain 'Superfries' and that's what happened. Dinner, right there!

One of my co-workers, Cindy, was off work for a bit and it just wasn't the same without her. So to celebrate her return yesterday, we had some yummy cake. Her favorite band is Platinum Blonde so their picture went on it. Thanks, Sobey's. Great job! 👍 Welcome back, girl. 😊

This would normally be a great set of music; Fortunes / Godley & Creme but hearing Whitney Houston's voice is a downer. She's gone and that did not have to happen. Great to hear that voice again, though. Powerful, gentle and hauntingly beautiful. #Whitney 🎙🎶🎼

As I get ready to fly back out west, I must talk about that digital weigh scale and the bright red Canada luggage. You can see that thing from a mile away and when the LED display reads '50 pounds' you know it's dead on. Airlines like that. One pound over and you pay big time! 🤣

My 'hangout music' tonight; Chris Rea's 'Fool if you think it's over' followed by 'The Captain of her heart' from Double then the great Patrick Swayze with 'She's like the wind.' Saturday night at home rolling tunes. 🎶 This is a perfect, relaxing evening for me. 😊

I'm going for another convection oven baked pizza tonight and it's the usual in getting this ready. Basically, a 'plain Jane' but fixed up with extra onions, sliced tomatoes and grated old cheese. I think this one's gonna be a winner. 🍕👍😊
