This Amazon habitat project was sooooo cool! Mrs. Wheeler’s class did a great job of creating and presenting on their habitat projects. In case you were wondering, that is a real piranha.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Vick. He, like Donald Bradach was an amazing and genuine man who had a real heart for kids.

Me. Rivera’s class is discussing the seasons in their morning meeting. Morning meetings are a great way for students to practice their listening and speaking skills, develop routines and come together as a community.

Mrs. Wheeler’s class is learning about how the heart pumps blood. They mimicked how the heart pumps blood by squeezing a stress ball with their hand and then discussed how amazing it is that the heart pumps all day without getting tired like they did when squeezing.

Ms. Gallardo’s class is celebrating Black History Month by reading biographies on African American citizens who have made history for their contributions in science, math, entertainment, medicine, sports, etc.

Ms. Serena’s class is celebrating Valentine’s Day by learning to draw a bear holding a heart. Did you know that if you don’t have art supplies at home that you can use the KAMI chrome extension and your trackpad to draw?
