Rest In Peace John Cain, a kind man who helped modernise Victorian Labor and led it to victory in 1982 after 27 years in the wilderness. Thoughts are with his wife Nancye, his children including son John.

No reported criticism of the Prime Minister in today’s Australian. (Apart from a confected defence of the PM from Tony Shepherd!!) Obviously they don’t think the Cobargo protest or International criticism newsworthy enough. Have we ever seen such media outlet partisanship.

Wow. It is hard to go much lower than advertisements spruiking the Federal Governments response in the middle of the Nations bushfire crisis.

Is Scott Morrison going to be the next PM to lose his job due to inaction on Climate Change? He appears to be following Malcolm Turnbull’s failed right wing Liberals appeasement policy.

Scott Morrison’s new 3 word slogan. “Climate Action Now”, but no new policy to back it up. It took a while , but now we understand our new PM. All spin...nothing else!

All the evidence points to an immediate UK style shut down. Any delay will result in more deaths. Great to see the Victorian and NSW Premiers leading on this issue

How hopeless was the PM tonight. You should stay at home unless shopping for essentials. Then in the next breath encouraging Australians to go to shopping centres and shop for non essentials.

My interview with Virginia Trioli this morning correctly reflect my view on Trade Unions. Unions will be an important partner in the development of Labor’s future Economic policy . Policies which are crucial for Australia’s post COVID19 recovery.

Josh Frydenberg doing a Trump, calling on Victoria to forget the pandemic and open up the Economy. Maybe he was serious when he nominated Thatcher and Reagan as his political inspiration.
