We found that sediments from chronically N-enriched marshes demonstrated lower respiration rates and higher DNF:DNRA ratios in response to added nitrate. Check it out if you’re into microbes, marshes, C & N cycling, and lab- based experiments. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
