Advocating for, and supporting bowel cancer patients, is incredibly important to our nurse Victoria who spoke out about radiology staffing shortages. Christchurch needs 21 radiologists, and its waitlist for CT scans has grown 147%, from 309 people to 765 - bit.ly/3H9fGgu

Dan Morbeys colonoscopy revealed the severe stomach pain he had been experiencing was caused by a tumour in his bowel. Due to long waiting times, Dan now faces a 2 week wait for a full body CT scan that will reveal if the cancers spread. bit.ly/3VFHMVa

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers Joanna, Judy, Susie & Ashleigh (plus our nurse Victoria!) who all attended local Z stations for the Good in the Hood cheque presentations. Collectively from the 15 stations who participated, our charity has been awarded almost $20K!💜

We were saddened to hear the news that Cheers star Kirstie Alley passed away from bowel cancer, after a recent diagnosis. The news highlighted the difference in surveillance screening between New Zealand and the U.S - and how far behind we actually are. bit.ly/3Yq8KC6
