Admettons, je n’étais pas la personne la plus attendue de la journée à l’Assemblée nationale, mais quand même heureuse d’y être auditionnée ce matin sur la procédure de destitution par la Commission des lois. Un peu perdue à la sortie, je me suis retrouvée en bonne compagnie!

The IACL-AIDC round table on Current challenges to constitutional democracy has started, with welcome speeches by the organizers, Prof. Pinelli from La Sapienza and Prof. Helle Krunke, president of the International Association of Constitutional Law.

With Olati Johnson (Columbia U), Dinesha Samararatne (Colombo U) and Marie Gren (Sorbonne U), we obtained a grant from the Alliance Program: alliance.columbia.edu/trilateral-ini… To kick off our project, a virtual seminar series! First topic, presidential power: what can France and the US learn from Sri Lanka?

I am happy to have been accepted as a Research Fellow with the Georgetown Center Constitution Center. For the next two years, I look forward to receiving feedback and discussing my ongoing scholarship. I am also thrilled to attend the inaugural conference this November in DC!
