So many great things happened at the @BritSocGasto #BSGLIVE25 conference in Glasgow this week. But the main highlight for Gut Journal was our Editor in chief Professor Emad El-Omar Emad El-Omar receiving his "BSG Lifetime Achievement Award" from the BSG President Professor


Absolute legend and totally deserved recognition of sustained work for patient and GI science. Worked with him as a colleague in Aberdeen and he is an absolute gentleman. Well done Emad El-Omar truly great work
