#AgriClimate2025. Dr Karl Richards showed how agriculture can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing the use of fertilisers. This can be achieved by improving soil fertility, incorporating clover & multispecies swards, using low emission slurry spreading & using digestate.

#AgriClimate2025. Dr Giulia Bondi revealed that Irish mineral soils are a net carbon source. Tracking change needs long-term data. NASCO shows deeper soils hold 48–200 t C/ha and may sequester more than thought. Improve soil fertility, swards, hedgerows, and grazing helps.
