In preparation for the Boston Marathon, the PWD team has been hard at work: 🏃 Removing poles on Boylston St. & Dartmouth St. 🏃♂️ Patching road deficiencies along the course 🏃♀️ Painting control boxes in #BackBay. #ClevelandCircle, #Fenway & the #SouthEnd




With the #PatriotsDay holiday on Monday (4/21), some #Boston neighborhoods will run on a delayed trash & recycling schedule. *Curbside collection will begin promptly in the morning for neighborhoods along the Boston Marathon route, so please put out your 🗑️ & ♻️ prior to 6 AM.



With an action packed weekend in the City of Boston, our PWD crews have been busy: 🗑️ Power washing trash receptacles in #BackBay 🏃 Patching road deficiencies along the the Boston Marathon route ⚾️ Sweeping & cleaning litter on Lansdowne St. prior to the Red Sox game.

BTD and Boston Public Works teams help prepare for the #BostonMarathon by enforcing street closures and parking restrictions, patching potholes, sweeping the streets, and removing streetlights near the finish line. Thank you to our partners and neighbors all along the route!
