Bossier Schools is on winter weather watch and closely monitoring the forecast for the next two days with emergency officials. We will provide an update at 3 p.m. today regarding any adjustments to Thursday’s school schedule.

Bossier Schools will be open Thursday, January 9. However, the YEP program will be canceled and all extracurricular and after-school activities will be postponed. We will provide an update at 4 p.m. Thursday regarding school on Friday.

Bossier Schools will be CLOSED Friday, January 10, 2025 in anticipation of winter weather conditions that could cause hazardous driving conditions on elevated roads and bridges. Bossier Schools will resume normal operations on Monday, January 13. Stay warm and be safe!

Bossier Schools will be OPEN as normal Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Our families can rest assured the buses will be warm, classroom nice & toasty, and hot meals will be served.

BOSSIER SCHOOLS: An overturned dump truck on Highway 71 has traffic blocked and buses that must travel south of Pecan Valley cannot get through. Traffic is being diverted, so please expect a delay in your child's normal arrival time home.
