Our final speaker for this roundtable is Kathryn Vomero Santos. She asks us to pause for a moment to consider the discussion of Shakespeare during a period of ongoing global conflict and student-led protests in Texas and elsewhere across the nation.
One thing we can learn from the folio and the centuries of editing is the importance of preserving texts, but also in asking whose texts are preserved. (Borderlands Shakespeare Colectiva for more on the Bard in the Borderlands project and its open-access anthologies!)

Please join the Madrid Lecture Series at Trinity University to hear from Sandra Cisneros.
At one point, Cisneros promised herself that she would never return to San Antonio. During the lecture, she will discuss how the city became a meaningful place for her and all creative people.
