In my latest blog, I share about 'Controlling the Controllables' in the writing journey. It's a saying I used in project management, as all projects (esp. software) are unique and many face unplanned issues. It refers to focusing on what we can control in the bigger picture.

In case anyone wondered, agents are friends with other agents, just like writers are friends with other writers. We don't view each other as competition. We root for each other. We send congrats notes when we see deals announced. We share tips and advice. We text, Zoom and call.

I took a hiatus from X, and came back pleasantly surprised to find it return to more positive vibes, like it used to be. Maybe it's the algorithms, but I'd like to think people are supporting and uplifting each other once again. 🥰
