One of the more bizarre parts of being a parent and also getting older is hearing the songs that our parents and the government fought to ban or restrict now be played on the family friendly oldies station and have my kids sing along to them.

So, I brought back The Dress to see what my 9 y/o and 7 y/o would see. I gave them no background or info, just asked what color it was. 9, confused, looked at me and said "blue and black." 7 said "no, it's yellow." Lively debate followed as i just laughed. Ahh, 2015 memories.

I'm not sure that not being drafted in the first round of the NFL draft is one of those things meant to test us, but OK.
