I really loved #writing and researching this piece. #Animals are forever my muse so I’m very lucky I get to write about them as part of my job. Also can we take a second to appreciate Chico the squirrel monkey in all his sleepy gloriousness! #amwriting wildwelfare.org/to-sleep-perch…

I’m thinking this might be it for #AnimalCompass. After years of #writing, #editing and #querying, I’m thinking of giving up. The determination to get the #book published is still there but fears over defamation issues have become too great. Any #memoir writers with insights?

Looks like the #writing mojo has come back! Currently working on two short-form pieces, one about #travel and one about #animals (naturally!) What are you all writing about this weekend? #amwriting #WritingCommunity

Yet again, #animals are my compass - this time they’ve led me back to Barcelona where my global journey began all those years ago. Thankfully this time I didn’t have my head down the toilet at 3am! #travelling #AnimalCompass #journey #MondayMotivation

This outtakes video is still my favourite thing ever! Come join me and the team this Friday evening for animal anecdotes and creature conversations.

It’s always a lovely opportunity to talk about your travel #book with someone who you met during #travel. So many shared stories and experiences to re-live - utterly fabulous.

I’m doing a lot more #editing than #writing these days and this piece was an absolute eye-opener to work on. I find a lot of people romanticise either the notion of an #animalsanctuary or what it’s like to work in one, but this is the reality. wildwelfare.org/maximising-wel…

And just like that the #writing came back! All it took was a run by the sea and the opening line “Morning kiddos!” and I’ve got a brand new chapter two!

I’m so pleased to see this talked about more in mainstream media! Electric cars aren’t (currently) the saviour everyone touts then to be. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

A few days ago someone described me as “basically David Attenborough.” That’s it. I’ve peaked. I can do no better in life!

*Cries* Happy 3rd birthday to this programme that has taken me around the world and introduced tens of thousands of people to #AnimalWelfare concepts. #KnowledgeIsPower
