Asian Cricketers at Presentation Evening with Sir Clive Lloyd. At the time the Bolton and District Cricket Association lower divisions was dominated by Asian sides. It was a type of blatant Apartheid system which meant Asian sides began to form their own leagues and competitions.

Zakaria Mosque. Bolton's first mosque. Est in 1967 as a mosque. Purchased from the Peace St Methodist Society. This photo dates from around the 1980's. The site is now occupied by the purpose built Zakariyya Jaame Masjid.
