As the news spotlight points at the Vatican in the build-up to the Conclave, we turn our attention to the immense body of art history surrounding and influenced by the Catholic Church. See our second floor display for modern art, architecture, and archaeology in the Vatican!

If a resource in the catalogue mentions that it has a corresponding CD or DVD, these can borrowed from the issue desk to use in the library. The library also has a DVD player that can be borrowed (USB plug in) for laptops and computers without a disc drive.

This Sunday is International Museum Day ! At the Art Library readers engage in a variety of ways with museums for their research. Have a look in the Haverfield room (ground floor) and on the second floor to browse past museum journals, catalogues and auction books.

They tried to tell us to "leave the Sheldonian" because it's "not September yet" but we're simply too sat!
