Today we recognise World Hepatitis Day, an initiative to raise awareness about hepatitis. This year’s theme is “Find the Missing Millions”, as 290 million people who live with hepatitis worldwide do not realise they have acquired it.

An American study has recently found that kidney transplants between people living with HIV are safe.

Therefore, the idea of there being a “normal” viral load is misleading and promotes HIV stigma.
