Our local pubs will be open until 1am today to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day. I attempted to give them all a shout out in Parliament but failed! I forgot The Red Lion, The Rose and Crown, and The Palmerston, one of which is the closest to my house. Kicking myself! I

With the St Helier Hospital upgrade delayed, there is a real fear that some buildings are at risk of catastrophic failure. I asked the Prime Minister to work with me and the local NHS on a plan to ensure that St Helier Hospital can survive until the upgrades are completed.

The plans to upgrade St Helier Hospital have been delayed by 10 years. Can the government reassure me they’ll work with the local Trust to maintain and adapt the estate so the hospital can survive? Bobby Dean MP 🔶

I’m meeting soon with TfL to review the impact of changes to the 154 bus and raise concerns about other local routes. Feedback from residents is vital so if you’ve recently used any of our local buses, please share your experiences with me via this short survey:

The Spending Review is a bad day for London. Cuts to Met Police, left out of transport infrastructure plans and local councils will continue to struggle. So much for change!

This Labour Government lacks economic vision. The latest Spending Review will leave businesses disheartened, public service users frustrated, and taxpayers wondering where their money is going. I wrote for the Daily Express that an alternative is possible - but it requires
