Raise your hand if one of your favorite activities is listening to Dr. Jessica Murfree and Dr. BCharrise speak about intersectionality and climate justice in sport 🙋♀️
Spoke this past week on career development: teaching and research statements at the Bill Anderson Fund workshop! Glad to be back with my BAF family.
It's been a while, NASSS, but I'm excited to be back with TWO bangers (on the last day, oof). If you're around, I would love to share our work - guarantee you'll learn something new! High praise to my colleagues, Boosie BadAzz, and Big Freedia 💋. See y'all soon #NASSS2023
It matters. And I said it before and I'll say it again. The way they treated our sis Dr. Sealy-Jefferson scrapped any plans I had to (re)join and be active. The way folks treat Black women are always the canary in the coal mine.
Last week I had the opportunity to return to my alma mater Spelman College for the Academic Institutions - Communities - Agencies Network Convening for Environmental Justice. So grateful to be in the presence of some EJ giants and working towards change in the Southeast Region.
Got to share the ACA-NET experience with my doctoral student and my mentee! Couple decades of Spelman excellence pictured here: Spelman College ‘05, ‘15, and ‘25 💙🩵💙
Happy Anniversary to Lioness Justice Impacted Women’s Alliance!!! I’m thankful for every day I get to work beside you all ❤️
