Good morning! Another fine day ahead, the bluebells still look fantastic in our woods (free entry), our '3 x £5.00 plants for £12.00' offer is still on, tulips are still out in the garden, and we have cake too! Open Wed-Sat 10-5. Closed Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.

Will it, or won't it rain later today? If it doesn't, you can enjoy a quiet wander round the bluebell woods and garden. And if it does, our cosy tea room has hot drinks and cakes, of course, and a fab selection of books for sale for Macmillan Cancer Support. Either way, do drop by :-)

You might have spotted a dainty grass on many of the show gardens at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show. It's Melica altissima 'Alba', or (Melica uniflorum albidum). Either way, it's a gorgeous hardy grass and we have it in stock. Max 5 per customer... bluebellcottage.co.uk/plants/MEL510-…

Our coach group visitors love our garden tours - so we've decided to offer them to our regular visitors too! Every Thursday and Friday at 11am, starting 13th June. Tour is free with normal £5 garden entry. Free to The RHS members. 2-1 BBC Gardeners' World Mag cards accepted. No need to book :-)

Well this one took off! It's quite possible that the absence of bees is just a dip between generations. But when they emerge (assuming they do), the poppies will have finished. And the wildflower meadow is going to seed.

We're open for the National Garden Scheme this weekend 6th/7th July. Open 10-5 Sat and Sun - the only Sunday we are open this year :-). £5 garden entry goes to the charity. (U18s free). Yes, we'll have tea and cakes, of course.. WA4 4HP. Max 20mph down our little lane, please. x

I built a walled garden at Bluebell Cottage Garden and Nursery just for this (more or less...) It was worth every penny....

I had a quick scoot round The RHS Tatton Show this afternoon - got to say, it looks superb. 10 show gardens - all to a very high standard, the 'ginnel' gardens, community gardens and so many innovate long borders that I lost count! Hope to see you there...

What a day at The RHS Tatton Flower Show! A Gold medal for our Floral Marquee display (first 12/12 judging score too :-) ) and the visitors loved our Moongate Garden. The show is packed with inspiration - open till Sunday. Hope you can make it....

Storum Lillian has brought down our tea room marquee - it even pulled out the ground anchors that held it down! The nursery and gardens are closed until midday today - the wind is due to die down at 11ish and we can clear up. Open 12-5 today and 10-5 tomorrow (Sat 24th)
