Well this one took off! It's quite possible that the absence of bees is just a dip between generations. But when they emerge (assuming they do), the poppies will have finished. And the wildflower meadow is going to seed.

We're open for the National Garden Scheme this weekend 6th/7th July. Open 10-5 Sat and Sun - the only Sunday we are open this year :-). £5 garden entry goes to the charity. (U18s free). Yes, we'll have tea and cakes, of course.. WA4 4HP. Max 20mph down our little lane, please. x

I had a quick scoot round The RHS Tatton Show this afternoon - got to say, it looks superb. 10 show gardens - all to a very high standard, the 'ginnel' gardens, community gardens and so many innovate long borders that I lost count! Hope to see you there...

What a day at The RHS Tatton Flower Show! A Gold medal for our Floral Marquee display (first 12/12 judging score too :-) ) and the visitors loved our Moongate Garden. The show is packed with inspiration - open till Sunday. Hope you can make it....
