🚀 Team Eagle Eyed Soars! 🦅🏆 Central’s Robotics Team 8825 competed at the Greater KC Regional, finishing 2nd place as Finalists! 🔥 Ranked 5th overall 🔥 Pulled off major upsets 🔥 Finished 11-6 in the regional Huge thanks to our sponsors, alliance partners & mentors! 👏

Our KCPS robotics teams battled 3 dozen other teams in the Greater KC Regionals this past weekend, with KCPS_CentralHS's Team Eagle Eyed coming in second!! Big props as well to the teams from KCPS_Paseo (Paselians) & Lincoln College Prep (TigerBytes) for their great showings!

We hold regular Student Town Halls to listen to and address feedback from our students. Our students are brilliant thinkers and are the reason our district exists---They deserve a voice! Most recently, @DrJenCollier met with students at KCPS_CentralHS & Lincoln College Prep.

Joyful news to start the day! Ms. Cross is a KCPS District Teacher of the Year runner-up & received a $1,000 instructional grant from the KCPS Education Foundation! She may not have taken the top title, but she’s forever #1 at CHS! We’re so proud—this is just the beginning!
