It is vital that the UK & Ireland increase enrolments into clinical trials for cancer- research shows that where clinical trials are done, outcomes can often be better & in areas like blood cancer & glioblastomas where investment in research has lagged behind, we must catch up

Lots of food for thought at #LAB24 fringe event hosted by BCA member Anthony Nolan - we need to ensure NHS readiness to deliver the next generation of cell and gene therapies to secure better outcomes for blood cancer patients #HCF24

Together, blood cancers are the 5th most common cancer. But to date, cancer policymaking hasn't addressed the significant issues in delays to diagnosis and equitable access to treatment and care. This must change in the forthcoming NHS 10 Yr Plan and accompanying cancer plan.

We’re speaking with #OneCancerVoice today and have added our name to this letter. We’re pleased the Gov has committed to a new national cancer plan - but it must be fully funded and ensure it serves all cancer types including those that are harder-to-treat and harder-to-diagnose
