I have decided that my life will reach it’s absolute peak at 40-45, and I’m so proud to tell people that.

It’s unfortunate the sensibilities of a lot of new Black Metal listeners gravitate towards “algorithm-core” opposed to embracing the classics of the genre. It’s part of why I love Black Metal, we all tacitly acknowledge that the “peak” of the genre has already come and gone.

By far, my favorite campaign in all of Total War Medieval II is the Lithuanian campaign in the Teutonic expansion. It’s hard, you get access to some great exotic units, and you have a couple interesting ways to play out the game.

Imagine the pure terror unleashed by a warrior of good stature wearing this in 100 BC. It was an age where dominating the psyche and superstitions of an enemy were real components in winning battles… Believing the enemy had conjured a demon to physically overpower you…

Went a little artsy with this one

There are very few bands/projects out there like Break The Sword. The track “Consume” off their lone album, The Unseen War, is such a weirdly catchy take on late-90’s Oi and RAC… can’t get the chorus out of my head.

I don’t know who exactly was in I.N.F.A.T.R.Y, but the GBK/Argho entryism pervading right-wing extreme music circles has gotta stop.
