Collins was a Minor League Rule 5 pick two offseason’s ago. What an awesome story. He’s earned it too. Switch hitter with a 125 wRC+. K-Rate under 20 and a BB rate of 14. He hits the ball hard, can steal some bases. Has a ton of positional versatility. He could help.

MLB debut today for 2016 Maple Grove HS graduate Isaac Collins. Very cool. He was a stud football player too, and could hoop. Pretty good run for Blizzard Baseball seeing Collins and Seth Halvorsen (Rockies) in the last week get the ultimate promotion.

I believe that there are now 8 players that played Blizzard Baseball to make it to the BIG LEAGUES. It's pretty cool for a MN club baseball team. Club baseball is not the reason they get there but a small part of the journey. Who is next? Drew Gilbert ?
