What we need to know about vertebral fractures 👇

-They are the most common serious pathology in the spine

-Osteoporotic compression fractures are the most common with a 4% prevalence in primary care

-They are much more prevalent in women and seen in
12% of women aged 50-79…

If this doesn’t ring alarm bells I don’t know what will! 🔔

Workforce and beds ✅

What about prevention:
- Fracture Liaison Services?
- Strength & Balance exercise programmes?
- Support food first approaches and increasing protein intake?
