Yesterday Black Walnut had a visit from Earth Rangers/Éco Héros 🐸🌎 and it was amazing!!! Grades 1 to 6 were inspired to protect the planet as they learned about animals and their environments.

It has been amazing seeing this mural take shape in our hallway. The intermediate students are so engaged in this learning and our younger grades are so excited to learn more! Thank you for sharing this learning experience with us!

Today all classes participated in caring and safe school assemblies. We continue to work and learn together and value what makes us each special and unique.

Performers from KUNÉ - CANADA'S GLOBAL ORCHESTRA the global orchestra inspired our students with music from around the world! We loved singing and clapping along with songs in Turkish, Farsi, Arabic, and Spanish! Thank you so much for your performance!!
