Black Annis is at Mad Jack's Morris Jack in the Green festival at Hastings this weekend! A few photos from dancing today, featuring Hannah’s Cat as well.
It’s the culmination of #JackInTheGreen in #Hastings! There will be a procession through the Old Town, with dancers and drummers, leading to the ‘slaying of the Jack, to release the spirit of summer’. Stephen Cranford is joining the celebrations.

Black Annis Morris dancing last night in Black Annis’s Bower in Leicester for a somewhat belated celebration of the Summer Solstice.
Black Annis used to capture little children and take them off to her cave in the Dane Hills but these days she’ll take what she can get. Black Annis Morris celebrate our 40th birthday on Saturday 2nd July. Come and see us dancing with friends in Leicester city centre!
