They need to be ~7.5%/yr starting now to hit Biden emissions…

Rich people can afford to worry a lot about far-off future

Most of the poorer world worries a lot more about current problems

Estimates of 'correct' CO₂ tax (SCC) come almost entirely from rich world

Rich elite wants to tax CO₂ almost 9x more than median person in world!

People are properly mocking the 'two years to save the world' but the far more troubling claim is that climate change is the only priority that matters:

'For those who say that climate change is only one of many priorities, like ending poverty, ending hunger, ending pandemics,…

Last year, governments spent $1.8 trillion on the green transition.

If solar and wind really were cheaper, shouldn't they replace fossil fuels without the need for massive subsidies?

And still, emerging economies keep adding more new power from coal.

To achieve 100% solar or wind electricity with sufficient backup, the US would need to be able to store almost three months’ worth of annual electricity. It currently has 7 mins.

Just to pay for the batteries would cost the US five times its current GDP.

Last week, Chuck Ross scooped that the KR Foundation, a group who are committed to training community climate activists, gave The Associated Press $300k in funding.

That’s on top of the millions of dollars the outlet had already reported from liberal groups, many focused on climate change.
