Two of our students, Amir and Prasanthi, recently volunteered their time promoting optimal oral health to new students joining the University of Liverpool accommodation. Great to see our students helping out in the University community! #DentalHealth

Thanks to everyone who attended today's Cardiovascular Screening, in honour of #WorldStrokeDay2024. 55 people were screened in 2 hours, and have walked away wiser about their heart health. Massive thank you to Prof Deirdre Lane and her colleagues at Liverpool Centre for Cardiovascular Science.

So pleased we managed to get our contribution to jackthelad.org.uk to over £2k. Remembering our student who so tragically passed away this summer.

Lifting the dahlias as per the advice of Monty Don BBC Gardeners World Normally leave them in the ground, and this has been quite successful, but want to put these somewhere else next season. So up they come!

As I prepare for retirement in a few weeks time it is pleasing to see, outside my office, these signs of success over the past 7 years. Success, that is, of the whole school team, staff and students. And salutary to note that my own mugshot will now be added to “past deans”
