Our 4th graders and our teachers had a wonderful (scary, exciting, fun) time at the Environmental Center They loved exploring the outdoors, petting animals, even being brave and holding snakes and bugs 😱! What a fun way to wrap up the year and incorporate science and fun into learning!

Today was the last ballet after school practice for our 1st-3rd grade participants. We are lucky to be expanding the arts more and more each year! A few years ago it was theater, this year it’s ballet. We can’t wait to see what opportunities our students will have next year!

Last Recycling Club of the year! Our lead custodian, Ms. Yazmin, leads this club and all the participants learn to create beautiful art out of recycled materials. We have so many talented artists at our school, from staff to students, the creativity is never ending!

Today after school our art teacher, Ms. Gomer, lead a fun “paint and sips” sponsored by our PTA ! Our staff got to relax, paint, and enjoy fun camaraderie! Now we’re ready to visit the beaches we painted! Thank you for a great afternoon! 🏝️ 🎨

Our Willy Wonka performance was wonderful! So proud of the students hard work! Thank you families for your homemade candy donations and real life candy donations for the candy bar! Thank you to the numerous staff and high school students that assisted too! 🍬🍭🧁🍫💙

Thank you Pasos for Oak Cliff for continuing to support our students with new kicks! We are grateful for all you do for the Oak Cliff community and our school in particular! You all are awesome! Thank you to Wingstop for sending volunteers to help size and distribute the shoes! 👟 💙 🐏
