i liked stand up a lot i didnt love it...i actually stopped doing it because i wanted to focus on transitioning --which was the biggest deal imaginable to go through. i quit in 2013. I would have quit earlier but we had our own night weekly at a Philly club called the Laff House

i threw a comedy show at the Laff House once on a Thursday night and no one came. Zero People. I was actually alone in the stage and audience area. I was DJ'ing too but I turned off the music and put on a CD of a live comedy set by Robin Harris. He had the crowd laughing.

this is one of the dopest things i ever did. that way whenever the door was opened by staff the sounds of a great show flew out into the lobby. it was spiritual too having Robin Harris demolish a real club like that. And i had the volume cranked...he was in command

The main thing i love about the Robin Harris CD incident is that the world was like fuck you to me and I said nah im coming at things a different way.
